Album Review: Ex Deo, 'The Immortal Wars'

Album Review: Ex Deo, 'The Immortal Wars'
Rated:3/5

'The Immortal Wars' has few surprises for Ex Deo fans, featuring eight mid-paced marches full of grinding guitars and brass sections suggesting raised swords and flapping banners. The album pales in comparison to frontman Mauricio Iocona’s flagship band, Kataklysm, but fans of Septicflesh and Fleshgod Apocalypse will enjoy it immensely. CHRIS KROVATIN
