Album Review: He Is Legend, 'Few'
He Is Legend wander between genres, walking a zigzagging path that’s almost impossible to map. For the most part, the band have settled into a southern-styled hard rock which is the main focus of 'Few.' They hit hard with supercharged sing-a-longs, and while it’s a sound the band does well, it loses its luster when done too much. He Is Legend does throw in calming melodies (“Call Ins”), proggy riffs (“Gold Dust”) and even a bit of theatricality (“Fritz the Dog”) to keep the listener guessing. All in all, the album is kind of predictable with pleasant little surprises throughout. TAYLOR MARKARIAN
