Five Finger Death Punch Reveal New Album Cover Art, Share Clip of New Song

Five Finger Death Punch have revealed the album artwork for The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell Vol. 1 (pictured left).

Guitarist Zoltan Bathory said, “The album artwork was done by one of my favorite illustrators, Greg Capullo (Batman, Spawn, Gunslinger), the ‘dark lord’ of ink-splattered violence. Greg is a metalhead and he is funny as hell so it was riot working with him.”

Vol. 2 from Five Finger Death Punch will be released later this year.

Last year Capullo illustrated the cover for Revolver‘s Mayhem Festival issue.

Fiver Finger Death Punch have also posted a clip of a new song, “Dot Your Eyes.” Check it out below.

Mick Morris of Eighteen Visions Passes Away at Age 35

The former bassist of metalcore act Eighteen Visions, Mick “MickDeth” Morris, died on June 2 from a pre-existing heart condition, after being in and out of the hospital recently. He was 35.

Morris joined Eighteen Visions in 2000 and remained with the group until it disbanded in 2007.

Post-Eighteen Visions, Morris toured as a tech for Hatebreed, worked for Century Media Records, and launched Dethless Clothing. He also performed in a Misfits tribute band, Die Die My Darling, which also featured Bleeding Through’s Brandan Schieppati.

Morris had also manned Revolver‘s tent at the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival over the last two years and was set to do so again this summer.

We send our condolences to his friends, family, and fans. Rest in peace.

Behemoth Announce Title of Forthcoming New Album

Behemoth have announced the title of their 10th full-length album, The Satanist.

The Satanist is due out this fall on Metal Blade Records.

In a statement, frontman Nergal said, “It took us over two decades to come up with a title that…says it all. While our new songs artistically take surprisingly adventurous directions, our message stands steadfast—Proud and Radical.”

Crossfaith Announce Release Date for New Album, Apocalyze

Japanese electro metallers Crossfaith have announced they will release their new 12-song album, Apocalyze, on August 20.

The band will also be making its way around the U.S. on Warped Tour this summer.

Crossfaith released The Dream, The Space in 2011 and have toured with Parkway Drive and Alesana in Asia.
