Like you, we here at Revolver are still mourning the loss of Avenged Sevenfold drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. That’s why we included a poster of him and an obituary in the March/April issue, on stands now. Many of the Rev’s peers wanted to weigh in, too. So over the coming days, we’ll post remembrances by the Rev’s friends, people he looked up to and artists who looked up to him.
The newsstand edition of Revolver‘s new, March/April issue comes with a free temporary tattoo featuring an exclusive design (pictured left) by acclaimed artist Paul Booth, who has inked everyone from Corey Taylor and Max Cavalera to Chad Gray and Kerry King (see the magazine’s cover). Send us pics of yourself or a friend, family member, total stranger, pet, or whoever and whatever wearing the tattoo, and we’ll not only post them here on the Revolver website but also select the most insane, hilarious, and generally awesome pic and hook up the person who sent it in with a Slayer poster and deluxe edition of Slayer’s World Painted Blood, both signed by the band, as well as a copy of Kat Von D’s book, High Voltage Tattoo!!!
