DAVE MUSTAINE TO REJOIN METALLICA?

Word that local promoters for this year’s Gigantour have received emails warning that the Dave Mustaine–curated tour may in fact be cut short have many industry insiders thinking that a reported reconciliation between Mustaine and his former employers, Metallica, have progressed far beyond the “Hi, how ya doin’, now let’s make you cry like a little girl on camera” that metal fans have so far witnessed. A recent comment by Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson on his popular syndicated radio show, in which he stated that Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich had phoned him to ask how touring with three guitarists affects the band’s bottom line, has only fanned the flames of this potentially explosive rumor.
