GUEST BLOG: LANDMINE MARATHON’S GRACE PERRY
The Origin show on July 30 was memorable for five reasons:

1) The heat in the venue was next to unbearable. Sweaty-dude party-bonanza full on. I was sweating more than Samuel L. Jackson after he found those snakes on that plane, more than Elvis after a bad day without Quaaludes and a good day with them, more than Rosie O'Donnell staring at a pile of sliced ham. My back and hair were soaked, and every super dude in the audience was wetter than a Slip ’N Slide during a rainstorm. It was fucking hot. All the better.

2) The members of Origin fought and killed a pack of javelinas. They ate the babies cooked at the center of a be-goated pentagram, and made the mother watch. I'm now total BFF with the whole band.
3) I drank many Sparks. Part energy awesome, part malt liquor, all super power drink. We were hoping for a sponsorship but apparently the good people at Sparks have no idea who the fuck we are. Taking in
enough of that shit to kill a baby seal doesn't seem to be enough. So, fuck you, Sparks. Until next time.
4) I locked my keys in my truck which I do all the time. All the fucking time. Luckily, I was drunk enough not to care and broke my driver's side window with my mind and drove home and went to bed. I had a dream about Geronimo, which was new. Anyway.
5) Free shirt! Fuck, yes. I'm going to wear that shit. Thanks, Origin.
On the whole, a very memorable night. We're looking forward to the
show with Dead Child this week and hoping that everyone remembers to bring a jar—it's free dead baby night for the first 20 ticketholders.
We don't sell tickets. Fuck tickets. And babies.
XOXO Grace

Like the "I'm Mephistopheles, WORSHIP ME!!!" look in your eyes in the second pic. It really captures the Matt influence. Heard Bile Towers. Good Track. Also like the dead baby band from kentucky...
