GUEST BLOG: SKELETONWITCH’S SCOTT “SCUNTY D” HEDRICK
February 1, 2008
February 1 is quite a special day. It’s the anniversary of the first meeting of the United States Supreme Court! What a humdinger!!! It also marks the selection of the first Secretary General of the United Nations!! Wow…really??? Did you know that on February 1, Edward III was crowned King of England?…B-O-R-I-N-G!!! Also on this day, broadcasters tightened censorship after a tits-out Super Bowl halftime performance by Janet Jackson. OK…that’s a bit more titillating, but none of this bullshit is the reason I care about February 1.
The real historical significance: It’s the birthday of our very own major-rager, shreds-on-stager, never a sucker, and full-time motherfucker, Nathan Garnette, a.k.a. N8 Feet Under! This Viking riff-merchant is 28-years young today.

N8 Feet Under!
Rather than hear about it from me, here’s a description of Nate’s birthday from the man himself:
“My birthday ended up being pretty ‘kewl.’ I turned 28 and had to move the van about 40 times due to venue suggestions and cop reactions. Our singer, Chance, told everybody from the stage…what stage? Oh, the heavy metal stage, that it was my birthday and people started buying me beers and shit. Then, when the Red Chord played, frontman Guy Kozowyk was pretty much my birthday cheerleader. He mentioned my birthday about 30 times, which only made the beer roll in faster. I loved it like I love free beer. The show was sweet. The touring bands were all hugs and b-day wishes. It was a great b-day, even though we had to play with Job for a Cowboy and the Red Chord…just kidding, they’re OK. I mean, they’re sweet dudes! I love them.”
