The life of Vinnie Stigma — founding Agnostic Front guitarist and much beloved Godfather of Hardcore — is set to be explored in an upcoming autobiography, and the book will arrive under an extremely lofty title: The Most Interesting Man in the World.

The book was announced by the New York hardcore icons this morning (April 15th) with a release date of September 10th via publishing house Simon & Schuster.

Co-authored by Stigma and Howie Abrams (The ABCs of Metallica), The Most Interesting Man in the World is said to cover Stigma's pre-punk days growing up in NYC's Little Italy, among Lower East Side "mobsters," before diving into his time in New York's Seventies punk scene, the founding of Agnostic Front in the early Eighties and his continued presence in the hardcore scene ever since.

The biography promises to be peppered with anecdotes around Stigma's other passions: cooking, professional wrestling, acting, martial arts, yoga and other creative disciplines.

The Most Interesting Man in the World might not be your standard-set bio, either, with pre-release info from the publishers adding that the book will include "a handful of signature Italian recipes," along with a four-page comic book drawn by fellow NYHC lifer Ernie Parada (Token Entry, Black Train Jack) and a crossword puzzle.

The book also features a foreword from the guitarist's longtime partner in crime, AF vocalist Roger Miret. Both musician's lives, and the music of Agnostic Front, were previously explored in 2017 documentary The Godfathers of Hardcore.

Stigma revealed earlier this year that he might also have a country album in the works titled The Outlaw. Full details on that project have yet to arrive.
