Watch Maynard James Keenan's New Short Film 'An Easter Story'

The story of a missing duck named Larry

Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan is gearing up for the latest livestream event from the last of those bands, "Billy D and the Hall of Feathered Serpents," which will feature a performance of the 2016 album Money $hot in its entirety. The event is set to premiere on Keenan's birthday, April 17th. Ahead of that big date, the musician, winemaker, farmer, author, martial arts practitioner and all-around renaissance man has offered up a short film titled An Easter Story. Narrated by Keenan, the short features a "Nagual del Judith Mix" of the 2009 Puscifer song "A Humbling River" and tells the story of a missing duck named Larry. Really, though, the film is a philosophical meditation on Easter and spring, the latter of which Keenan describes as "the bringer of life, rebirth, reproduction, resurrection, reconnection, of salvation, of infinity and of hope."
