Avenged Sevenfold haven't played a single show since 2018, but in 2023 they're making up for lost time. Following the recent announcement of their long-awaited new album, Life Is but a Dream, the band have announced their first proper tour in five years, which will travel throughout 13 cities in North America later this summer, with Canuck post-hardcore vets Alexionfire serving as support.
Interestingly, the vast majority of the upcoming dates will go down in Canada, as well as five shows in the Northern region of the U.S. — New Jersey, Massachusets, Michigan, Illinois and Minnesota. According to a press release, this is only "leg one" of Avenged Sevenfold's upcoming tour, so fans should expected additional dates to be announced down the line. Earlier this month, A7X also announced two release shows for Life Is but a Dream, one in L.A. on June 9th and another in NYC on June 23rd.
