Also featuring Justins old pals Dave Cochrane(Head Of David) and Diarmuid Dalton(Jesu) the debut album Disconnected has just been released. Sounds interesting? Well of fucking course it does.

First off if you don't like harsh music stick with your 65 Days Of Static albums, because Greymachine are pretty nasty. Jus has gone all Streetcleaner on us, i'm also hearing Skullflower and early Swans in there too. I don't think Turner plays axe at all so if you were hoping for post rocky noodles then stay well away. Sounds like Turner brings the noise(samples) here much like his House Of Low Culture stuff. I've had a brief listen and so far i think it's ok. Certainly lives up to it's title anyway, just seems like nothing i haven't heard already. At least it proves Justin isn't a big pussy these days. A few more spins and it may grow on me more though.

Cheers.

Perhaps, but it took him long enough to get back there.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one, as I love Jesu's entire catalog

What i mean is Jesu hasn't been that heavy since the self titled album.

Ok, you got me there. They went pretty melodic from Conqueror on. That's why I think you might be somewhat pleased with the new longplayer.

Ok, Sunn, I d/led it and I can see what you're saying. It's definitely noisier than any of Broadrick's offerings with Jesu, but I actually think the new Jesu full-length is heavier

I've sorta become a sucker for Justin's melodic stuff, even preferring it to the first Jesu record, but it's good to hear him doing something not so pretty again.
