The Wretched End Begin Recording New Album

We've just received word that The Wretched End have started recording a new album, tentatively titled Inroads.

The band, which formed in 2008 as creative collaboration between Samoth (Emperor/ Zyklon) and Cosmo (Mindgrinder), is currently heading into Strand Studio, Oslo, to record the drums for the follow-up to last year's debut album Ominous. Swedish skinsman Nils Fjellström (a.k.a. Dominator from Dark Funeral, Aeon and In Battle) will be tracking drums.

So far, the confirmed tracks for Inroads are as follows: “Death by Nature”, “Cold Iron Soul”, “Blackthorn Winter”, “Fear Propaganda”, “Hunger”, “Throne Renowned of Old”, “Tyrant of the Mountain”, “Deathtopian Society” and “The Haunting Ground.”

Recording is scheduled to be finished by the end 2011 and Inroads is tentatively scheduled for release in the first half of 2012 through Nocturnal Art Productions/ Candlelight Records.
