Russian metal group Forget My Silence will release their debut album, 'Fall to Rise,' on May 5. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere their new song and music video, "I See Hell in Your Eyes." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Guitarist Elia Solonnikov said, "This album is a half-way stop between our early 'metal' stuff and more nu-metal sound we dig into recently. Simple but powerful riffs, some harsh vocals, more soulful lyrics than Roma ever wrote—if you liked Forget My Silence before, you won't be disappointed."

"With 'I See Hell' we were inspired by 'Queen of the Damned' and at first we wanted to make a reference to 'The Three Musketeers' in our video—that storyline about the relationship between two lovers—D'Artagnan and Milady de Winter. Even after she tried to kill him and poisoned Constance Bonacieux, he tried to stop Milady's beheading in the end of the book.

"This song is about that feeling inside when you understand the person you're in love with is a bad choice and dragging you in troubles and will bring you nothing but misery, but you can't stop. It destroys you, but you are too powerless to change anything. And I think almost everyone experienced it more or less. So it's a mystical metaphor for a common fatalistic plot with femme fatale."

SixFeetUnder_0.jpg

Six Feet Under have dropped "The Separation of Flesh from Bone," the latest single from their forthcoming studio album, 'Torment.' 'Torment' is the band's 12th studio album and will be released on February 24 via Metal Blade Records. The song can be heard below.

"I've been lucky to have a lot of standout albums in my career," explained frontman Chris Barnes. "That's only because I've had a great many talented writing partners and musicians to collaborate with. Our new album, 'Torment', to me, is one of those albums. Jeff Hughell has provided the flammable material for me to write some explosive lyrics and vocal parts to. I know people always say, 'this is my best album ever', and I won't say that, because everyone has their own favorites, but I do enjoy creating new music, and I feel as though with this one we expressed concisely and to the fullest the duality of our music."

'Torment' can be pre-ordered in various formats at this location.

Boston-based doom metal group Rozamov will release its new album, 'This Mortal Road,' on march 3 via Battleground Records and Dullest Records. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere the title track. Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

The band said, "'This Mortal Road' to me encapsulates what this album is all about, which is why its the title track. We wrote the album during the snowiest winter in Boston history, making life in the city just a constant draining struggle. It was a really intense time to live in New England and the cold and isolation of that winter worked its way into the riffs and the lyrics, giving the record the feel of a long and intense journey. This song is the start of that journey."

Life of Agony have dropped the title track from their forthcoming new album, 'A Place Where There's No More Pain,' which will be released on April 28 via Napalm Records. Not only is this the first new music from the band in 12 years, but is also frontwoman Mina Caputo's studio debut with Life of Agony. "A Place Where There's No More Pain" can be streamed at this location.

"We have a long history of connecting to our fans on an emotional level through our words and music," commented bassist/lyricist Alan Robert. "And that's why I think there's something really relevant and timeless about the message behind the title track, 'A Place Where There's No More Pain'. It's about facing your problems head-on in order to find peace within yourself. A topic that really hits home for a lot of our fans struggling with their own demons. The opening line, 'running away only makes it worse,' couldn't be more true, because sooner or later those problems will catch up with you, and when they do, you gotta be strong enough to deal with them."

The track listing for 'A Place Where There's No More Pain' is as follows:
01. Meet My Maker
02. Right This Wrong
03. A Place Where There's No More Pain
04. Dead Speak Kindly
05. A New Low
06. World Gone Mad
07. Bag Of Bones
08. Walking Catastrophe
09. Song For The Abused
10. Little Spots Of You

In conjunction with the album release, Life of Agony and WSOU FM announced a "Calling From The Underground Unsigned Band Contest," where one local tri-state area band can win the opportunity to open for the band at their album release show in New York City on April 28. Details are available here.

The band said, "When most bands write a song they come up with a working title first and then change the name when it is done. We just never change the title of the song when it is done. This song is about my struggles holding onto a failed relationship. A toxic love affair. Is there a better name than Bobby Brown?"

All That Remains have dropped two new singles, "Madness" and "Safe House," which are taken from their forthcoming eighth studio album. The effort, for which the title has yet to be revealed, is tentatively scheduled for an April release. The songs can be heard below.

While speaking with Sirius XM's Jose Mangin about the new singles, vocalist Phil Labonte explained that "Madness" is about individuals who fall intro destructive cycles while "Safe House" was inspired by Showtime's 'Dexter' series, which is about a vigilante killer.

"People tend to kind of get into kind of ruts in their lives or into patterns, and they keep doing the same thing over and over, even though it doesn't produce the results they're hoping for," he explained of "Madness." "You can see a lot of societal cycles where nations just keep doing the same kind of stuff over, and it doesn't always have great results. But still, it seems like a good idea. So, that's kind of the idea is like human beings, whether you're talking about individuals or large groups, they get into these kinds of cycles of repetitive things that can be really destructive, and so that's kind of what I'm thinking, that's what 'madness' is."

Speaking of the song "Safe House," Labonte added, "The idea behind it was like, you know, what if like Dexter wasn't a forensic guy for the police but was a dude that just kind of set his house up so that it invited home invasion, and he used that as his excuse for smoking people?" he explained, "Kind of like it leads the character into the house and into a place where [Dexter] can get away with killing people."

During an interview about the new record with Revolver for our October/November 2016 issue, Labonte explained: "We wanted to mix it up a little bit and write from a vocal perspective this time. So I went to L.A. and came up with vocal ideas and melodies and then sent those chord progressions back to Oli [Herbert, guitarist] and he wrote riffs in response to that, turned the record into a vocal album as opposed to a guitar album. And that affected some things. Like, there might be less intricacy in the riffs because they were written in response to my voice." The full excerpt can be read here.
