Ahead of their imminent co-headlining tour with the Devil Wears Prada, Fit for a King have offered up an explosive new single, "Keeping Secrets."
True to FFAK form, the song juxtaposes gigundous breakdowns, screamed and sung vocals, electronic flourishes and more, while drawing, lyrically, on a deeply personal source. Blast it above via its epic music video.
"'Keeping Secrets' is a song that not only showcases some new elements for the band," FFAK singer Ryan Kirby commented. "It goes back to some of the more popular elements of our older work. The song's theme of questioning if people can truly love you, if you don't open up and let them know the real you, is something my adopted daughter has struggled with greatly, and is the inspiration for the song."
FFAK's 2024 run with TDWP — dubbed The Metalcore Dropouts 2nd Semester Tour — features support from Counterparts and Avoid. It kicks off January 16th in Kansas City and wraps February 24th in Minneapolis. Check out the full itinerary here.
