Hear HERIOT's new rager "Siege Lord"

U.K. upstarts return with second Century Media single

Late last year, Revolver favorites Heriot announced that they'd signed to Century Media and celebrated the news with a disgustingly heavy, Godfleshian single called "Soul Chasm." Now, the U.K. hellraisers — who count Lamb of God's Mark Morton as a major fan — are back with another pulverizing new cut, the one aptly titled "Siege Lord."

Crank the song, which was recorded with Josh Middleton (Sylosis, Architects) and Will Putney (Better Lovers, Fit For An Autopsy, END), above via its fittingly grimy music video.

'Siege Lord' is a track we feel expands on our previous releases, leaning heavily into the more metallic elements of our sound," Heriot commented in a joint statement. "It's a visceral yet atmospheric track. Lyrically, 'Siege Lord' contemplates the fragility of soul-searching."

Next up for the band are a string of summer festival appearances followed by a fall U.K. and Europe trek with Fit for an Autopsy, Sylosis and Darkest Hour. You can find all their tour dates here.
