METALLICA in Paris Night 1: See setlist and videos from M72 Tour

Second city of "no repeat weekend" tour

Metallica's M72 world tour continued last night (May 17th) in Paris, where the band played the second city and third date of the massive run, which began last month in Amsterdam. For this tour, the thrash lords are playing each location twice, and promise "no repeats" of the same setlist, so last night's configuration of songs was significantly different than what fans heard in Amsterdam.

After opening with "For Whom for the Bell Tolls" for the first time since 2016, they burned through 15 more songs from all throughout their catalog, including three from 72 Seasons ("Lux Æterna," "Screaming Suicide" and "Sleepwalk My Life Away").

"I Disappear" and "Blackened" were played for the first time on the M72 tour, and they closed out the whole night with "Master of Puppets." Check out footage from throughout the night above and below via YouTube, and check out the setlist courtesy of Setlist.fm.
