Periphery: Hear Prog-Metal Stalwarts' Epic New Album 'IV: Hail Stan' in Full

D.C. based shredders preview entire record ahead of April 5th release

Following the February 6th release of furious lead single "Blood Eagle," Washington, D.C. prog-metal outfit Periphery are back with a full album stream of their upcoming Periphery IV: Hail Stan, out this Friday, April 5th, via their own label 3Dot Recordings.

"We finally spent a year on a record," said guitarist and programmer Jake Bowen of the band's latest. "We've never been able to do that."

"We're all the happiest we've ever been with a release," added guitarist Mark Holcomb.

The album has a darkly polished edge, taking on a grim but sleekly produced tone and construction. Songs titles like "CHVRCH BVRNER" and "Garden in the Bones" hint at a more macabre direction for the dynamic band, leaning into a matured but still rage-fueled process of creation.

The band's three week American tour with Dance Gavin Dance kicked off last night in Anaheim City, California and moves onto San Francisco's The Regency tonight. Find a full list of dates below, and check out copies of Periphery IV: Hail Stan, including physical and digital formats and merch bundles, on 3Dot Recordings' official store
