Last night (August 4th) in New Jersey, Metallica launched the U.S. leg of their M72 World Tour with the first of two headlining sets at MetLife Stadium. The trek features "No Repeat Weekend" performances in each city, which means that attendees at both Jersey shows (the second goes down Sunday, August 6th) will get a completely different setlist.
Yesterday's 16-song set kicked off with "Creeping Death" and closed with "Master of Puppets," but the most noteworthy inclusion was the live debut of "Shadows Follow," a standout cut off Metallica's latest album, 72 Seasons.
