Hailing from the bubbling underground scene in Los Angeles, Skeletal Remains practice a punishing, groove-heavy brand of death metal with a vocal attack straight out of the Martin Van Drunen school of anguish. Forefathers from Cannibal Corpse to Dismember are all referenced, but the quartet's approach remains its own — a killing machine of blasts, slower OSDM passages and pure fist-clenching badassery.
