See Skeletal Remains Bring Old-School Death-Metal Fury in New "Seismic Abyss" Video

L.A. outfit nod of Cannibal Corpse and Dismember while showcasing live prowess

Hailing from the bubbling underground scene in Los Angeles, Skeletal Remains practice a punishing, groove-heavy brand of death metal with a vocal attack straight out of the Martin Van Drunen school of anguish. Forefathers from Cannibal Corpse to Dismember are all referenced, but the quartet's approach remains its own — a killing machine of blasts, slower OSDM passages and pure fist-clenching badassery. The "Seismic Abyss" video is the band's latest release, a performance/practice space hybrid clip that showcases the band's live chops. Check out the visual above.

Skeletal Remains are set to release Devouring Mortality via Dark Descent/Century Media on April 13th. U.S. folk can pre-order copies here, while the rest of the world can cop theirs here.
