Did you know that New York rockers Coheed and Cambria — who have written an epic multi-part intergalactic sci-fi story — really like outer space? Crazy, right?
The prog-metal group were recently invited to a special show at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. to celebrate NASA's 60th anniversary — where they dutifully performed their single "Here to Mars" (from 2015's The Color Before the Sun) with a little help from the National Symphony Orchestra.
Not surprisingly the band were clearly touched by performing at such an event — in between verses, singer Claudio Sanchez is grinning from ear to ear and taking it all in, while the orchestra plays a great rendition of their song.
