Why is Dave Grohl always included in these projects? His band isn’t even considered metal,it’s alternative main stream pop rock. I think he could have a kick ass band if he did actually make metal music. Why don’t they grab Kenny Hickey,Jonny Kelly,Josh Silver & Sal Abruscato of Type O Negative,A Pale Horse Named Death,Seventh Void,Life of Agony,& I’d say Peter Steele but he’s not with us anymore unfortunately. What an awesome tribute song Peter could put together man, that would sound so sick! But the rest of Type O Negative could still put together a sick tribute to Dio,with Kenny Hickey or Sal Abruscato on vocals,I’d be leaning more towards Kenny Hickey because he can hit those high notes & has some hefty lungs on him for those of you who haven’t heard his side project band called “Seventh Void”with Johnny Kelly on drums,Hank Hell on bass & Matt Brown was the other guitarist but left last year & their still looking for another guitarist. Kenny is still working on the second Seventh Void album.

So true only this morning I was listening to The Seventh Void. I think they will do an excellent Dio tribute
