Album of the Week: Get Scared, Built for Blame, Laced with Shame

After an epic voting battle that saw over 100,000 votes cast, Get Scared have come out on top this week, with their new EP, Built for Blame, Laced with Shame (buy on iTunes), narrowly edging out second-place finisher Andrew W.K. by just 1,400 votes. The top five vote-getters were:

1. Get Scared – Built for Blame, Laced with Shame
2. Andrew W.K. – I Get Wet reissue
3. The Last Vegas – Bad Decisions
4. World Fire Brigade – Spreading My Wings
5. The Chariot – One Wing

    By a single point of percentage? I don’t know… feels kinda fixed.
    AWK is history being brought back. He totally deserves it.
    I won’t say Get Scared isn’t a talented group, but it’s been so overdone.
    Oh well- congrats to them.
