Not bad, not bad at all.

  • Santeri Saarela

The song felt a bit like it had actually needed her cleans in there. Not hating, just stating.

      i agree

    • IndraLoka

yup, agree! idk is it because we all knew that Alissa usually did that or it’s the song which needs clean vocal

      • Santeri Saarela

It’s probably the guitar melody there that is begging for cleans.

  • IndraLoka

still can hear a pretty strong of Angela’s influence here. It’s possible that Arch enemy’s gonna have a “clean vocal” song in the near future.

    Great job, Alissa

Nobody can mix cleans and growled vocals as well as Alissa.. She has a great voice for both sides of the aisle! And with the melodics from Arch Enemy instrumentally , this could be an epic pairing! I just hope they let her use both styles, otherwise it’ll feel like a waste of her overall talent! Still, excited either way! ANd good luck to Angela in all her future endeavors.. I, for one, hope to see her death stare on stage again sometime in the future!!

You guys are all crazy… needs no cleans song is perfect

I didn’t hear any “cleans” in there, which I’m happy about. I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t want to hear any clean vocals in metal. Arch Enemy is one of the few bands that has never disappointed. Each album is just as good, if not better, than the last. The new singer sounds like a decent replacement, but I’m still disappointed at the departure of Angela, because she had the fiercest female metal voice I’ve ever heard.

Please listen to The Agonist 2 last albums. If there is a singer in metal that should be allowed to clean sing, it IS Alissa White-Gluz.
