Buckcherry’s Xavier Muriel Remembers Avenged Sevenfold’s The Rev

This week marks the two-year anniversary of the untimely passing of Avenged Sevenfold drummer Jimmy “the Rev” Sullivan. To mark the occasion, all this week on RevolverMag.com we’ll be bringing you memories of the Rev from his friends in the hard rock and metal community.

“The music world lost a great person and musician with the passing of Jimmy ‘The Rev’ Sullivan. Jimmy brought a stylistic flare to his performance which helped take the band to a very high level at such a young age. I had the honor of touring with him and found the Rev to be a very warm and caring individual and one hell of a drummer. His music and fans were the most important things to him and no matter how big he became, he never lost track. We will miss Jimmy and all of his crazy antics. Most of all, we are all richer for knowing him. Rest in Peace.”
