Dave Grohl, Alice Cooper, Rob Halford, and More Contributing to Dio Tribute Album

A string of hard rock’s top names have committed to being a part of a new tribute album to Ronnie James Dio. So far Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Rob Halford (Judas Priest), Alice Cooper, Lemmy (Motörhead), Sebastian Bach, Ian Gillan (Deep Purple), and Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple) are confirmed for the project which is being compiled by Dio’s widow, Wendy.

For the album, which is expected later this year, Grohl will be covering Black Sabbath’s “The Mob Rules,” while Halford will perform the Rainbow track “Long Live Rock ‘n’ Roll.”

it would be really awesome if you could get Corey Taylor, Phil Anselmo, Ivan Moody, Rob Flynn or M.Shadows to sing on at least one song. Or it would be even better if you get them all on the same song and then throw in Craig Owens just to mix it up a bit. LOL now i know im crazy.
