Disturbed Release New Song, “3,” to Benefit West Memphis Three

Beginning today, multi-platinum hard-rock band Disturbed will make available for sale a previously unreleased song, “3,” on their official website. All proceeds from the sale of the track will go to benefit the Damien Echols Defense Fund, which pays for legal fees, forensic testing, and investigative fees for the West Memphis Three, three me who were convicted of murder, possibly unjustly, in Arkansas in 1994. In other Disturbed news, the band’s current album, Asylum, has been certified gold by the R.I.A.A. This summer the band will hit the road headlining the fourth annual Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. The tour, which also features Godsmack and Megadeth on the main stage, will make a 26-date trek across the country beginning on July 9 in San Bernadino, California.     This is ridiculous, Damien Echols is a pathetic child killer. How in the hell is so many people behind them, the one said multiple times the did it. The knife has their damn prints all over it. And it belonged to one of them before the murders. They weren’t unjustly accused, they did it all the evidence says so. They were tried and convicted. Case closed. All killers say they are innocent.
