Emmure Guitarist Mike Mulholland on His Favorite Mötley Crüe Song
To celebrate the careers of Nikki Sixx and Mötley Crüe, Revolver put the badass bassist on the cover of the March/April issue, out now. We also got some musicians to weigh in on their favorite songs by Sixx and the Crüe. Today, Emmure guitarist Mike Mulholland fills us in on his favorite Crüe tune.
"Girls, Girls, Girls"
"I was a listener, but never a huge fan of Mötley Crüe until we were on tour with Hatebreed and Machine Head in Australia last year. We were all on a flight to Adelaide together talking about partying hard and who does it the best, and Jasta suggested that I read The Dirt, an autobiography of the Crüe. Shortly thereafter, I took his advice and read it. My mind was blown. I thought I was cool and could totally hang until I read that book. On the Girls, Girls, Girls tour, they flew to every show and each had their own personalized tray of drugs delivered to them when they reached cruising altitude. It doesn't get any more intense than that. Mötley Crüe wins."
