Escape the Fate’s Max Green on His Favorite Mötley Crüe Song

To celebrate the careers of Nikki Sixx and Mötley Crüe, Revolver put the badass bassist on the cover of the March/April issue, out now. We also got some musicians to weigh in on their favorite songs by Sixx and the Crüe. Today, Escape the Fate bassist Max Green (pictured on the far left) fills us in on his favorite Crüe tune.

“Shout at the Devil”

“I first heard ‘Shout at the Devil’ in sixth grade. My stepdad was a teacher and had grounded me. Sitting in his office, I was going through his drawers, and under a bunch of papers there was Mötley Crüe, Decade of Decadence. I thought it looked rad so I threw the CD in, and ‘Shout at the Devil’ was the first track I flipped to because of the name. And that’s where it all went wrong! That song inspired me to start the movement that is Escape the Fate.”
