Exclusive Album Premiere: Airbourne — Black Dog Barking

Today, RevolverMag.com presents the exclusive premiere of Black Dog Barking, the new album by Australia’s Airbourne. The album, which will be released May 21 through Roadrunner Records, was produced by Brian Howes. It is the followup to 2010’s No Guts. No Glory.

Hailing from Warrnambool, a small drinking town on the southwestern coast of Victoria, Australia, Airbourne has steadily gained an immense following with their explosive live shows and main stage festival appearances including a headliner spot at Wacken 2011, Rock Am Ring/Park (Germany) and Download (UK).

It’s been a long year and a half for Airbourne since coming off the road mid-2011 to work on Black Dog Barking. Said the band, “A lot of thought and effort has gone into this record not only by the band, but by the production crew who worked countless hours, seven days a week, even through Christmas and New Year’s Eve to achieve the best possible performances, backed by real undying tones. Now we’re handing it over to you… so crank it up, crack a beer and stick some rock ‘n’ roll in your ear!”

Airbourne is Joel O’Keeffe (Vocals/Lead Guitar), Ryan O’Keeffe (Drums), David Roads (Guitar), Justin Street (Bass). For more information, visit their official website and Facebook page.

A VPN is a ‘Virtual Private Network’. If you google “American VPN” you’ll find a bunch of sites that offer them. All you do is connect to the internet through the VPN and it directs all of your internet through a server physically placed somewhere in the US. That way your I.P. and computer location will appear to be in the United States and you can access US only content online.

Honestly, I think this is their worst album by quite a wide margin.

    • Josh

I agree, lyric wise. I can do without the repetitive choruses, but musically this is their best album. Sound and riff wise

      • hds

I disagree. It sounds compressed as fuck and the riffs are very lazy/uninspired/unfinished sounding.

    • Donnie Purnell

No chance, BY FAR their best album!! Awesome!!!

“The owner of this track has not made this sound available for streaming in your location.” What are you doing at Revolver ! That suck……………….

  • Eric Leclerc

what the fuck the bands from aus i cant steam it here and there not comming to brisbane on there tour wtf?

    • The S Man

WTF is with your spelling and complete lack of any punctuation? … You managed to use “there” incorrectly twice in the one sentence! That should have been “THEY’RE not coming to Brisbane on THEIR tour”. And you should be able to “steam it” in Brisbane – it’s pretty warm up there ….

  • jimjim
