Exclusive: Fake Figures, Featuring Members of Atreyu, Hotwire, and Scars of Tomorrow, Premiere New Song, “Sit and Burn”

Today, Revolver brings you “Sit and Burn,” a new song from Southern California band Fake Figures (which features members of Atreyu, Hotwire, and Scars of Tomorrow). The band just finished the track with producer Beau Burchell (The Bronx, Saosin) and it will be included on their upcoming EP, They Must Be Destroyed.

“The song is ultimately about how much I despise how paranoid I can get over situations that are usually less then relevant toward my well-being,” Fake Figures vocalist Rus Martin says. “I never used to be like this, but…I dunno, I guess with the more I learn about living this one life, I get swallowed in skepticism, rather than optimism. It deals with those imaginary walls we all sometimes build and how we might attempt to recognize and scale them before that becomes impossible.”
