Picture Me Broken–led by frontwoman, and perennial Hottest Chick in Hard Rock, Brooklyn–will release their new EP, Mannequins, on December 18.       I want the screams too! The screams make PMB less mainstream. We cannot have yet again just another rock and roll band with a girl singer.
      Don’t get me wrong tho, Brooklyn is an amazing singer!! one of my favorites EVER and the band is solid!!
      But definitely love PMB heavier!
      This is a sick song tho. Love it, but go HEAVYYY!

    Disappointing…….I loved the mix of screams and vocals in the album but by the sound of this song they may have ditched the screams which makes them sound like any other generic rock band.

        Lots of bands that “mature” tend to change it up TOO much. A variety of bands start off with an amazing album and then they decide to totally switch it up and change their sound.
        If I like a band..I kinda want the band to stay the same?!
        I understand talent is talent..but if I like post-hardcore/screamo and all of a sudden it turns to punk rock..its like WTF! ahaha

          i know what you mean. and i totally agree with you. On Brooklyn’s facebook she said that the “Mannequins” EP goes in different directions, so there may be some screaming in it. I did hear the song ‘Mannequins” off the EP Saturday night when they did their StickAM chat. it was awesome. it was Acoustic, but it sounded amazing. :)

      I totally agree dude!! The mix they had of screams and vocals before was perfect…In this song if they threw in a “breakdown” with a few screams here and there…even maybe screams as backup at certain parts it woulda hit the spot!! Either way sick track tho!

    This song is so amazing! I cant stop listening to it! going on 15 plays by me so far. PMB is in my top 3 favorite bands ever! I will always support them! I am happy i preordered the new EP! :)

    With, or without the screams, Brooklyn has an amazing voice, and the band completely compliments that with their play. Excellent tune! It rocks!
    Love the screams, and love this too! Can’t wait for the release! Just wish it was a full release instead of an EP. All in good time I guess!

      Screaming is part of a bands musical style these days. Screw these stupid words like “scene” ! That means nothing.
      So if screams are “scene” then this lame rock and roll style is “generic”.
      Good bands don’t need to change. Lots do, and then they lose their true sound.

        Mike I love the old PMB but we are a very small group of people…She screams..it’s just not coupled with predictable breakdowns..it’s like a vocal accent…you know like Steven Tyler did 30 years ago…nothing new about screaming…..it comes and goes…if music is generic just because it doesn’t have screams in it…well then I don’t know what to say..this is all so rediculous about the screaming…

    Its good. Her voice sounds amazing. Yes, some screaming would be nice but the band has to grow and mature. Im sure there are heavier tracks on the album. Regardless, this is avery solid track. Can’t wait 4 the album!

    How old are you guys crying about the screaming? 12? 13? Exactly. there’s more musicianship on this song than anything else they have ever done. Go try to sing it, I dare you. This band obviously isn’t trying to please you little scene kids anymore. That’s why your favorite bands are NOT on the radio.     So I have to say …I’m super disappointed. What happened this sounds sooo watered down. Sounds like a bellow average….generic…rock band…..not good.

    Are people judging the whole album on this one song? That’s not right and they sound amazing to me. Also, they posted a video of Shaun’s drumming during a live show of Torture and Brooklyn was screaming. so calm down, I’m sure there is still screaming on the record. If that is all you listened to them for, then I don’t see how you’re a fan because you don’t appreciate everything the band has to offer. Also there are main stream post hardcore bands too so screaming doesn’t necessarily make them “not mainstream” but if people truly care about “mainstream” then your hipster ass needs a reality check.
