Exclusive: Requiem for the Dead Premiere New Song, “Say Hello to the Devil for Me”
To say that Requiem for the Dead has been busy writing new material would be an understatement. The five piece melodic punk/metal act took all of winter off to write and record over 20 new songs before choosing the 15 tracks that would be on their upcoming album, The Unexplainable Truth, which is due to hit stores this summer on indie label Veda & Isis. See the cover art below the song stream.
“It’s our first ever studio produced album,” explains lead singer Steven Juliano, formerly of Epitaph Records band I Am Ghost. “All our releases in the past were done in our living room, put together quickly and cheaply. Not anymore.”
The new album features a new lineup for the band, which added new guitarist and vocalist Jacklyn Paulette, and Rick Siegfried on drums. “This is the band we were supposed to be the entire time. It just never happened until now.”
