Exclusive: The Charm the Fury Premiere New Song, “Colorblind,” Featuring Daniël de Jongh of Textures

Dutch metal outfit The Charm the Fury are set to release their debut full-length, A Shade of My Former Self, on September 17 via Pavement Entertainment in North America. In anticipation, the band has teamed with Revolver to premiere a track off the record right here right now. Titled “Colorblind,” the song features guest vocals from Daniël de Jongh of the tech-metal group Textures.

“This song is about equal rights for all people–more specifically, it is about the way in which gay people are being denied their rights,” Drummer Mathijs Tieken comments. ”In this time more than any other, anyone who feels the same way needs to stand up and speak out, and we considered it our duty to do so with this song. Hopefully, people will hear this message and be encouraged to help this cause.”

A Shade of My Former Self is available for preorder right here. For more on The Charm the Fury, visit Facebook.com/thecharmthefury, Twitter.com/thecharmthefury, and Youtube.com/thecharmthefury.
