Exclusive: The Sword Premiere New Lyric Video, “The Hidden Masters”

Texas doom-rock band The Sword have announced their final tour dates of the album cycle for Apocryphon–which you can see below. (The album is available on iTunes here.) In anticipation of the trek, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere a new lyric video for their song, “The Hidden Masters.” Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

    Where is the band of the first 3 records ? (especially the first one? ) This was boring and I have no urge to listen to it again while I still listen to the first three records. I wonder if the departure of the drummer had something to do with the way this band steered. Anyway this is not powerful. I want their old madness to come back !

    I am a huge fan, was hooked from celestial crown forward, this album lacks lyrically by far, didnt need them typed, it took months of listening and absorbing the epic voyages from past, ditch the producer fellas and take us on another mind -bending, world conquering , distortion fueled trip. #outtaline69

    Personally i think Apocryphon is a pretty solid record. It’s not as good as the first 3, but in my opinion as a musician, if they had stuck to doing songs in the same style as Age of Winters and Gods of the Earth, they would’ve gotten very boring. They tried to take it in a different direction a little with Apocryphon, and it turned out pretty well. Granted, it could be a little bit heavier…
