“My favorite Slipknot song is ‘People = Shit’ because of the energy and aggression in the music, the lyrical content, and the insane and raw emotion it has! Slipknot always pulls this off very well, and this song has always been an inspiration since Day 1. I first hear it about three years ago, got the album and was listening to it at work mowing grass at a golf course. Definitely gave me energy at 5:30 in the morning!  [Laughs] This song, as well as many others from Slipknot, has definitely taught me to think outside of the box and to never hold back when it comes to writing. Emotionally, it’s the song I turn to when I’m having a bad day.”
