Jyrki 69 of The 69 Eyes Picks His Five Favorite Albums of the Year

Leading up to the end of the year, Revolver has asked some of our favorite artists to pick their Top Albums of 2012 and tell us why each record rules. Here, Jyrki 69 (pictured left), vocalist of the goth-rock band The 69 Eyes, selects his faves.

5. Motionless in White, Infamous
“The scary ass-kicking album of the year. Pure American gothic hate!”

4. Aerosmith, Music From Another Dimension!
“God bless Aerosmith!”

3. ZZ Top, La Futura
“The best album to chill out in 2012. A perfect hangover cure with a few too many cold ones…”

2.Hellyeah, Band of Brothers
“The album that makes your wild night out perfect. It makes your beer taste better and your bitch spin around that pole harder.”

1. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Last of a Dyin’ Breed
“Easily, the album of the year. Such great songs that speak straight to me by this classic rock band.”
