Krokodil—Featuring Current and Former Members of Cry for Silence, Hexes, Gallows, and SikTh—Premiere New Song, "Shatter"
Spinefarm's newest signee Krokodil have an impressive pedigree, featuring current and former members of bands like Cry for Silence, Hexes, Gallows and SikTh in their ranks. They are sharing their first-ever song, "Shatter," with the world.
Revolver is exclusively premiering the song, taken from the band's double A-side, 7" release "Shatter"/ "Dead Man’s Path," which was produced specifically for Record Store Day. RSD is this Saturday, April 19, globally.
"Shatter"/"Dead Man’s Path" has been pressed onto blue vinyl, with 500 copies being manufactured. The release is hand numbered by the band, and features exclusive artwork by Krokodil guitarist Daniel P. Carter, who also hosts BBC1's Rock Show.
"This band first came about through a drunken conversation when we were all out partying one night, a LONG time ago," Carter said. "Playing at Download Festival last year was the point where we realized we had to stop talking about the band and start being a band. I’m stoked people are now getting to hear what we’ve been working on and to prove that we actually exist! This will be the start of something pretty special."
The band remains in the studio, putting the finishing touches on its Spinefarm debut, due out later this year.
