Lamb of God Vocalist Randy Blythe’s Manslaughter Trial Begins in Czech Republic

Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe has returned to the Czech Republic for his trial on manslaughter charges, which began today, February 4. Before entering the courtroom, Blythe posted a photo of himself in a suit and tie along on Instagram with the following message:

“And so it begins,” he wrote. “I am calm & prepared. Everyone, thanks for your good thoughts and prayers. Have a nice day, y’all!”

This past summer, Blythe was arrested as part of a manslaughter investigation stemming from the 2010 death of a 19-year-old fan, who passed away a few weeks after allegedly being tossed from the stage by Blythe at a Lamb of God show.

The trial is expected to run from today through Friday, February 8. Blythe faces a possible five to 10 years in prison.

This is such bullshit… they better show the footage of the kid climbing the guardrail and falling on his head! Just seems like they want to make an example of him and give him maximum of all charges cuz he’s American or some shit! Good luck Randy!

Good Luck to Randy. I hope these bogus charges are dropped. It’s all nonsense anyway.

Do you know what? This trial is complete bullshit, i have seen the video, blyth didnt throw him off the security gaurds did, and the kid jumped off the stage himself!!! i hope this gets dropped. All the other trials for Metal Musicians with death, and shootings, and suicide, all of them are bullshit, and so is this one. the us government needs to do something about this, especially when he was held there for a while.
