Mario Comesanas Remembered

Mario Comesanas, the former Promotions Director for Revolver, passed away on June 13 reportedly due to a brain hemorrhage. He was 30.

Mario began his career in the music industry as an on-air personality at the college radio station WSOU after which he started working at Sirius XM. In 2006, he joined Revolver’s staff, where he helped plan tour sponsorships, organize the magazine’s “Bootleg” MP3 section, and more. In recent years, he went on the road, representing Revolver at the magazine’s tent on the Mayhem Fest.

In addition to his work at the magazine, Comesanas was a great lover of hardcore music and played in the bands December Aeternalis and Low Road, who just finished recording their debut with producer Joey Z ., guitarist for Life of Agony.

Revolver would like to extend our deepest sympathy to his fiancée, family, bandmates, and friends. Rest in peace.
