Metallica and Lou Reed Post Samples of All the Songs on ‘Lulu’

    I think they need to rethink this album. 
    I mean, concept and collab albums are great ideas some times, but the sort of art rock spoken word thing going on here doesn’t really fit with metallica(what they are, or what they used to be).
    Even as someone who isn’t a fan of metallica in the least, I can’t help but feel bad for them at this point…

    I actually don’t mind this, id give it 6 out of 10. The metallica fanboys will never understand this is a Lou Reed with Metallica album. Tallica will be doing a new album in 2012-2013.

    lou reed cant sing no disrespect, metallica is out of there mind doing this crap album,, it would be better if it was just james hetfield singing. lulu sounds like poo poo :)

    I am a fan of both bands too! fuck all the metallica vs megadeth shit
    This is just my opinion, Lou Reed might have been good in his day but his voice SUCKS on LULU (aka POO POO)!

    Lou Reed’s style of singing clashes heavily with Metallica’s . I thought that with “death magnetic’ Metallica where back to their roots . They gave Lou Reed center stage on this album and really lost their identity. Lou Reed hasn’t done anything worth listening to since the early eighties. Just because they (James) idolized Lou Reed shouldn’t have been the reason they would make an album with him. This is pure rubbish!!

    Some of the music is very good but the vocals are horrible. 
    I’ve been a fan of metallica for 30 years,  but this one is pretty bad!

    vocals are thrashed!!! is lou singing??? reminds me of when william shatner gave music a whirl. old bill was smart enough to stick to his capt. kirk format though…thank the lord. astounds me that a band that has put out so much, and has done so well over the years has to resort to this kind of lunacy for a lack of anything better to do. this had to be the work of lars. please let james run the show lars. he’s the reason your where your at, not the other way around.
