There is no way any release can top the mighty Carcass. Surgical Steel needs to be voted to the top.

    Haken-The Mountain.

    Best album of 2013 easily.

Sat down with it last night. First impression was Devin Townsend meets Porcupine Tree circus metal…

More listens required. There are so many amazing things about the new Haken album that one listen cannot reveal. It’s a masterpiece which transcends through various moods and genres beautifully.

        Phenomenal record.

Gave it another spin. Pareidolia is an absolutely incredible song, but not much else stuck out with me on the record.

Everyone has their own opinion. I respect yours. But for me there was a lot of outstanding stuff on this. Have heard such a great concept album after ages, the best one since “Scenes From A Memory” by Dream Theater. The writing, arrangements, harmonies everything for me are stunning :) .

            Take care.
            Enjoy the music.
