Pantera Special Issue On Newstands Everywhere Now!

2012 marks the 20th anniversary of Pantera’s classic Vulgar Display of Power. What better way to celebrate the greatest album by one of the greatest metal band ever than by reading Revolver‘s new special issue devoted to the group? The issue, which is available on newsstands everywhere and online right here, tells the whole story of the Texas metal upstarts and features new interviews and rare photos, as well as original art by revered comic-book artist Tim Bradstreet. Plus, members of Slayer, Alice in Chains, Judas Priest, Avenged Sevenfold, Shinedown, Five Finger Death Punch, Machine Head, and more pick their favorite Pantera songs.

For diehard fans, Revolver has also created a limited-edition box set, containing the issue with five different covers (click here)—four of which are exclusive to this set. It also contains a massive 15″ x 21″ double-sided poster and Guitar World‘s “How to Play the Best of Pantera” DVD with 90 minutes of shredding lessons, all packaged in a cool collector’s box. Only 500 of these box sets exist, so act fast.
