Photos: Metal Blade Records 30th Anniversary Party

On November 30, Metal Blade Records celebrated 30 years of metal with an all-star blowout at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. The evening was hosted by Don Jamieson and Eddie Truck of That Metal Show, and featured performances by Gypsyhawk, Sacred Reich and longtime Metal Blade artists Armored Saint. Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, James Hetfield and Robert Trujillo also put in an appearance, a nod to “Hit the Lights” first appearing on the first-ever Metal Massacre compilation.

    Luke Perry? WTF?

That was a EPIC show, but it sucks that the Metallica guys didn’t come out and jam with Armored Saint. Don’t know if it is because they are snobs or they just couldn’t keep up with the SAINT!!!!!
