    What is going on with Jeff Hanneman of Slayer? I know he had some problems with an infection etc,but is he still having Health issues? Gary Holt of Exodus must be loving this opportunity. I personally think Pat O’Brien of Cannibal Corpse is a better guitarist than Gary Holt.

      Hanneman contracted a flesh eating virus from a spider while in his hot tub at home. He’s somewhat recovered and has played a few times with the band, but he can’t play fast for long stretches of time. I went to the Mayhem Festival in Indiana at they were the best band of the day. Just full on from start to finish, all killer! They’re writing a new album and Hanneman’s supposed to be working with them on it.
