Seether Continue Chart Success With Latest Single “Tonight,” Tour Dates

South African rockers Seether are continuing to burn a trail of commercial success across the American charts and airwaves. Currently the trio has their first two singles from latest release, Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray, sitting comfortably in the Top 15 of the Active Rock charts. As things stand they are the only band to hold such an honor. The debut single “Country Song” racked up more weeks at No. 1 than any other release this year, with 11, and has also amassed more airplay than any other Active Rock hit in 2011. This achievement has been backed-up with latest release “Tonight” climbing into the number 14 position having been released four weeks ago.

The band will continue their triumphant year to date when they head out on the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival later this month, headlining alongside acts including Avenged Sevenfold. Check out their full touring schedule below the clip:

Seether is by far the best rock band to come out in the last 10 years. This album is AMAZING. I hope the next radio single is “No Resolution” because after owning the Album since the week it came out, that song still sticks out as more if not just as catchy as Tonight and Country Song. I’ve watched them play For Que, Tonight, and Country Song live since this album came out and they are doing an amazing job on tour, the set list was all there best songs and a few older songs, mixed with Tonight, For Que and Country Song from this album, Can’t wait to see them on Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Fest. Hopefully they start throwing in a few more new songs like “No Resolution” and the acoustic version of “Here and Now” because in my opinion “For Que” “No Resolution”  “Country Song” Tonight” and the acoustic version of “Here and Now” from the Deluxe Edition of Holding Onto Strings Better Left To Frey, are without a doubt all in the top ten of any songs Seether has ever written. After this Tour I hope they do a club tour where they can play a set for 2 hours because I saw them play in Ohio and they played 15 songs, including a cover of Nirvana’s Heart Shaped Box and they still didn’t play all the radio hits and out of the 15 songs they played only one song “Needles” was never on the radio, also they had a part of the show where Shaun Morgan played acoustic guitar and sang “Broken” “The Gift” and one other song , I forget which song it was, all by himself. It was an amazing concert and well worth the 11 hour car ride. Pretty Soon I have a feeling after this CD and if the next one is even moderately good, bands like Nickelback and Disturbed are going to be looking up to Seether as the biggest band in Rock music right now. And in my opinion, I’d much rather have Seether be the #1 Rock Band of the 2000′s than Nickelback or Disturbed. And it seems like thats the direction there headed in, they only have 4 or 5 albums, I think Disturbed and Nickelback have put out alot more albums and have been around longer. In 3-5 years Seether should and will be the biggest rock band with the most hit songs of the 2000′s. And that is with out a doubt a great thing for rock music ! Thank you Seether for putting out one great album after another and putting on an even better live show than I expect every time I see you guys on tour! ROCK ON !
