Slash Disputes Claims He Committed to Attending Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction
Slash has conflicted claims that he had RSVP’s to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony next year, where his former band Guns N’ Roses will be inducted. Earlier, Eddie Trunk tweeted that Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation President and CEO Joel Peresman had told him during his appearance on Trunk’s SiriusXM show that all of the Guns N’ Roses members had RSVP’s to the event.
However, Slash soon responded by stating:
“For the record, I didn’t RSVP, or in any way commit to attending the RRHF. I don’t appreciate people putting words in my mouth.”
It was also confirmed by Peresman that the Guns N’ Roses members who recorded Appetite for Destruction, as well as Dizzy Reed and Matt Sorum, would be inducted at the ceremony, which takes place on April 14.
Sorum recently commented in an interview that he thought the event would be a “Train wreck.”
