Texas Woman Claims Music of Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails Led Her to Burn Down Her Dad's House
A Texas women who allegedly burned down her father's house last week has said that she did it because the music of Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails told her that her parents were "Trying too kill her." According to court files published in the El Paso Times, the music also informed her of her parent's plans "to sodomize her and chop her up with the help of a neighbor."
The bizarre claim comes from Christina Paz, 29, who allegedly poured flammable super glue onto a bed before lighting it and going to another room to set fire to curtains. Paz, who had broken into the house a few days prior, then grabbed her bags and walked outside to wait in the front yard. No one was hurt in the blaze.
Marilyn Manson, in particular, is no stranger to this kind of controversy. The Antichrist Superstar suffered a huge backlash after he was cited as an influence on the two students who opened fire at a Columbine high school in 1999.
