    i thought TDWP was a christian band, yet they seem more demonic than christian. this is my favorite band and i love them and everything butthis album cover isnt what i was expecting :(

      B) It’s absolutely ludicrous to judge a person outside of some sort of relationship.

      They espouse belief in God constantly. Having a skull on their cover art doesn’t make them Satan worshipers.

      The Devil Wears Prada is 100% Christian. They’re lyrics are very anti-idolatry and I know that’s going to be a big theme on this album. That cover is a little creepy, but who cares? They are a Metal band. And it has meaning, trust me. I just don’t know what it is yet.

      Dead Throne is the name of the album and also the art had to go with the christian theme but go along with the darker sound of the album

    The dead skull is probably representative of death being dead – that’s why its upside down. Satanic imagery turned on it’s head can be construed as Godly – a la Oh, Sleeper’s pentagram with the horns cut off.

      actually did you go look up the meaning of the title name of Dead Throne? They released it somewhere.  It has to do with placing non Godly things on a “dead throne”. They are dead because God belongs on the throne and not the idols. you can even go look it up (not tryin to tick you off i was just sayin

    I knew right from the get go after hearing “Born To Lose” that this would not be a typical Prada album… Personally, I loved their old sound to death, but the new direction that they’re taking is WAY more brutal and actually makes for a better live show… So that everybody knows, I am totally atheist and I support these guys 110%. I’ve seen the twice live now and definitely plan on seeing them in the future… TDWP 4 LIFE!!!

    In my opinion, With Roots Above and Branches Below, Zombie EP, and now sounding like Dead Throne are TDWP’s best albums. They are so much more agressive and not nearly as sporadic as Plagues and Dear Love were. The drums are much more brutally recorded and the guitars are much more crisp. I love Mike’s new guttural growl that he does (Born to Lose – chorus).

    Its all just my opinion so leave it at that and also…

    Born to lose sucks, this band sucks live, and Mike Hranica’s low scream sucks. The first three albums were pretty good, and Zombie EP was good but after hearing Born To Lose I’m not looking forward to this album.
