Unearthly Trance Retire From Playing Live

Unearthly Trance toast farewell to touring

New York City’s doom metal power-trio Unearthly Trance have retired from live performances. Guitarist/vocalist Ryan Lipynsky has issued the following statement: “Unearthly Trance played our FINAL show in Nagoya, Japan. We will no longer be playing live again. Thanks to all who came to see us over the years!”

No word has been given on whether this will affect the band’s future recording endeavors.

The band recently returned from a tour of Australia and Japan with Monarch and Dark Castle and High on Fire and the Melvins (respectively). All bands are okay following the massive 8.9 magnitude earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan.
