Video: Corey Taylor Calls Scott Weiland “A Lazy Piece of Shit”

A few days after branding renowned producer Rick Rubin “overrated” and “overpaid,” Corey Taylor has now laid bare his feelings about Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland. Speaking during his current solo tour, the Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman mocked Weiland’s upcoming Christmas album, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, calling the former Velvet Revolver singer “A lazy piece of shit.”

      Just because he sings metal doesn’t mean he has to be some antisocial jerk. Metal is just a music genre not a way of life. It takes courage to be yourself. I’m personally happy to see that he acts like an outgoing person and likes to joke around.

          Honestly, he does work very hard to please his fans, not only does he help write the music for Slipknot and Stonesour, he writes lyrics for both of them, while also touring around solo to places that most celebrity singers wouldn’t go. And when he is there, he is a nice person and will talk to anybody. Yes they are both worth millions, but the difference is that Corey didn’t lose his humanity to money,

    i agree with the fact that he states people cash in on trends and have no integrity and dish it out to the drones who continue to eat that shit up (rap ,pop, electronica) with that said , i thinkit is funny he is on laziness well because all of slipknots albums sound the fuckin same. it’s like they recycle the last album tweek just a little and says here new album . which in a way makes him what he hates . but he is in front of “maggots” he can dono wrong in his minds eye he is right , no this rant just made you a hypocrite .

    Thats the whole point of his solo tour. There is a talking part, a Q and A part, and then he sings. Maybe if you didnt have your head so far up your ass you would have known that.

    Corey is a talent worthy of having his opinion heard! How many groups have lead singers who can sing, play drums, guitar, and write music fit for all generations. So listen to what he’s says you might hear his talent! You gave your opinion, and most are just that!

If I wanted to hear whinning about life’s tradgedys i’d throw on a slipknot album where corey screams his guts out about his exaggerated EMO issues. Don’t get me wrong, some things he says are valid and i am also a fan of some of his musical work but really… Mr. Knowitall… you produce a new idea. and don’t say your book because rock stars putting out books is like a mass produce campbells can ad produced by warhol.     I’m not a fan of Corey Taylor per say. But he has a point in what he is saying. I went to see Scott Weiland in LA for this Xmas CD. The loser/moron/crackhead was supposed to come out at 8 pm. I stayed til 10:30, and then I left. He is a “lazy piece of shit” You dont make people wait for you like that. I don’t care who you think you are. Weiland is a has been.
